Natelle® is a nutritionally complete prenatal multivitamin and mineral supplement developed following the recommendations of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) safety guidelines. Natelle® features ferrous (II) bis-Glycinate Chelate iron, which is better tolerated than other iron forms. The 27 mg of chelated iron is equal to 150% of the daily value for pregnant and lactating women. Natelle® also contains 30 mg of vitamin B-6 reducing the incidence of nausea and vomiting often associated with early pregnancy. 3000 IU of beta-carotene provides a therapeutic and safe source of vitamin A, essential for vision, growth, integrity of the immune system, and reproduction. Natelle® contains 1 mg of folic acid, a dosage proven to significantly reduce the incidence of neural tube defects (NTD's). Natelle® also includes 150 mg calcium carbonate which promotes skeletal development and bone health. Additionally, Natelle® holds biotin, magnesium, and copper which may aid in skeletal development and fetal circulation. These trace elements may also reduce the incidence of birth defects and spontaneous abortion. The pink sugar-coated tablet makes Natelle® easy to swallow and eliminates the unpleasant odor and taste often associated with other prenatal supplements. Natelle® meets patient's nutritional needs before, during and after pregnancy.

WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
Precautions: Folic acid in doses above 0.1mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations remain progressive.
Adverse Reactions: Allergic sensitization has been reported following both oral and parenteral administration of folic acid.
