Natelle® Prefer is a nutritionally complete prenatal multivitamin and mineral supplement developed following the recommendations of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) safety guidelines. Natelle® Prefer features ferrous (II) bis-Glycinate Chelate iron, which is better tolerated than other iron forms. The 29mg of chelated iron is equal to 150% of the daily value for pregnant and lactating women. Natelle® Prefer also contains 50 mg of vitamin B-6, more than any other nutritionally complete prenatal vitamin, reducing the incidence of nausea and vomiting often associated with early pregnancy. 3000 IU of beta-carotene provides a therapeutic and safe source of vitamin A, essential for vision, growth, integrity of the immune system, and reproduction. Natelle® Prefer contains 1 mg of folic acid, a dosage proven to significantly reduce the incidence of neural tube defects (NTD's). Natelle® Prefer holds biotin and magnesium which may aid in skeletal development and fetal circulation. These trace elements may also reduce the incidence of birth defects and spontaneous abortion. The small pink sugar-coated tablet makes Natelle® Prefer easy to swallow and eliminates the unpleasant odor and taste often associated with other prenatal supplements. Natelle® Prefer meets patient's nutritional needs before, during and after pregnancy.
